Nok Nok BankAuth provides a robust solution for validating Universal Authentication Framework (UAF) installations through the use of Touch ID. UAF, developed by the Fast IDentity Online (FIDO) Alliance, represents a cutting-edge authentication protocol that leverages public key cryptography.

This technology accommodates a wide array of authentication methods, including fingerprint, facial, and voice recognition biometrics. In the context of UAF, these methods are referred to as authenticators, and they effectively supplant traditional passwords with enhanced security and usability.

The UAF framework allows server-side policies to dictate the accepted authenticators, providing flexibility in implementation.
